Jerry,
ReplyDeleteBen Franklin Bennetts brothers in laws from his marriage to Mary Jane Mitchell weren't the only family he had in the Gainesville Volunteers. His brother Taylor Bennett served with him as well as a nephew James Oliver Bennett. Also serving was James Olivers brother in law Morris Blackwell. It is said Ben Franklin was shot several times in the war, and James Oliver was held in a prisoner of war camp for some time.
Does anyone have information about Ben Franklin's Daughter's?
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm trying to find information on Pryor Bennett, and possibly his son (Benjamins brother) Taylor Bennett. If you have any additional info, please let me know, as that seems to be the end of the trail. Thanks!
